Friendly City Tire was started in 1972 by Milton Campbell and Frank Madden. Upon Frank's retirement in February of 2010, Milton took total ownership and continues to operate the business with the help of several dedicated employees.
Management Philosophy:
The management of Friendly City Tire operate the business with the anticipation of producing a profit. However, the profit motive is considered secondary to the philosophy of operating a business with the highest degree of integrity in the dealings with customers and employees. It is not the desire of the company's officers to get rich. Rather, they desire to obtain and maintain financial security for the company while sharing the benefits of good business and prosperity with the employees of the company in the form of pay and benefits. They believe in rewarding employees who display good attitudes and performance. They strive to get and keep good employees with the realization that the employees are the company.
